Checklists

Drone Operation Center

Creating and using checklists is an easy way to translate your manuals into actionable steps. Apart from this, it also ensures all drone pilots operate with the same workflow.

Create a checklist

  1. In the bar on the left side of the screen, you’ll see ‘Library’ as one of the options. Click on this.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Checklists’ section by clicking on it on the left menu.
  3. To add a new checklist, click on the blue button ‘New’ in the upper right corner.
  4. A screen will open, asking you to fill in the basic checklist information.
    • Add a name (mandatory)
    • Select the checklist type (mandatory)
    • Add the purpose of the checklist (mandatory)
  5. Always make sure to click on save!
  6. The checklist is automatically added to the overview, and new items can now be added by clicking on the recently created checklist.
  7. After clicking on the checklist you’d like to add new items to, a screen will open. In the middle of the screen, you’ll see a plus sign with ‘Add checklist item’ next to it.
  8. Fill in the requested information.
    • Add a name (mandatory)
    • Add a description (mandatory)
  9. Always make sure to click on save!
  10. The item has now been added to the checklist.
Edit or delete your checklists

  1. Click on the checklist you’d like to edit or archive.
  2. In the upper right corner, you’ll see three diagonal dots. Click on this. You can edit or archive the checklist from here.
  3. To edit the checklist, click on ‘Edit’ and change the information. Always make sure to click on save!
  4. To archive the checklist, click on ‘Archive’. The checklist will be archived.
  5. To delete the checklist, click on the ‘Delete’ button below the checklist details. The item is now permanently deleted; this action can’t be undone.
  6. Editing or deleting a single checklist item is also possible; simply click on the item you’d like to edit or delete. To edit, change the name or description and click on save.

Ground Control App

Checklists are only available in the Drone Operation Center and Ground Control Android App, and not in the IOS app.

Create a Personal Checklist

  1. When you open the app, you’ll see the option ‘Library’ at the bottom. Click on this.
  2. Click on ‘Checklists’ underneath the subheader ‘Documents.’
  3. An overview with all your checklists will open; if you haven’t added any checklists yet, this overview will be empty. Click on the ‘+’ icon in the upper right corner.
  4. A new window will open requesting you to fill in the necessary information:

    • Goal
    • Checklist Type
  6. Always make sure to click on create.
  7. To add checklist items, click on the ‘+’ icon in the bottom right corner.
  8. Add a checklist item and description, click on create.
Create Team Checklist

  1. Go to the Library and switch the tab to Teams from the top of the screen. This will display all the teams you are part of.
  2. Select the team you want to see the documents of.
  3. This will display all the tabs in accordance with the selected team.
  4. Select Checklist from the list.
  5. An overview with all your checklists will open; if you haven’t added any checklists yet, this overview will be empty. Click on the ‘+’ icon in the upper right corner.
  6. A new window will open requesting you to fill in the necessary information:
    • Checklist Title
    • Goal
    • Checklist Type
  7. Always make sure to click on create.
  8. To add checklist items, click on the ‘+’ icon in the bottom right corner.
  9. Add a checklist item and description, click on create.
Edit or delete a checklist (item)
  1. Go to the checklist you’d like to edit or delete.
  2. To edit or delete the entire checklist, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Change the information and click on save, or click on the bin icon in the upper right corner.
  4. To edit or delete a checklist item, click on the checklist item, edit the information, and click on save. To delete, click on the bin in the upper right corner.
