Drone Operation Center

Adding drones to your library is helpful for multiple reasons. It’ll give you a clear overview of which drones are present within the organization, it’s clear which drones are due for maintenance, you can specifically see what drones have flown where etcetera. On this page, you will learn how to add new drones, and how to edit existing ones.

Add a new drone to your library

1. In the bar on the left side of the screen, you’ll see ‘Library’ as one of the options. Click on this
2. You’ll automatically land on a page with an overview of all your drones. You can always navigate back to this by clicking on ‘Drones’ in the bar on the left
3. to add a new drone, click on the blue button ‘New’ in the upper right corner
4. A screen will open, asking you to fill in the required information
   • Add a picture (optional)
   • Add a name (mandatory)
   • Add the manufacturer (optional)
   • Add the model (optional)
   • Add the registration (optional)
   • Add the serial number (optional)
   • Add the firmware version (optional)
   • Add the weight of the drone (optional)
5. Always make sure to click on save!

The drone will automatically be added to the overview. Go to the next explanation to learn how to edit or delete your drones.

Edit or delete your drone

1. In the bar on the left side of the screen, you’ll see ‘Library’ as one of the options. Click on this
2. You’ll automatically land on a page with an overview of all your drones. You can always navigate back to this by clicking on ‘Drones’ in the bar on the left
3. Click on the drone you’d like to edit or delete
4. In the upper right corner (next to the map) you’ll see three diagonal dots. Click on this
5. The options to edit or delete will present itself
6. To edit the drone, click on ‘Edit’ and change the information. Always make sure to click on save!
7. To delete a drone, click on ‘Delete’, and ‘Delete’ again in the pop-up window. The item is now permanently deleted, this action can’t be undone.

Drone information

It’s possible to see multiple types of information specifically for a drone.

1. In the bar on the left side of the screen, you’ll see ‘Library’ as one of the options. Click on this
2. You’ll automatically land on a page with an overview of all your drones. You can always navigate back to this by clicking on ‘Drones’ in the bar on the left
3. Click on the drone you’d like to see the information from. It’ll automatically land on the tab ‘Info’
4. In order to see different information about the drone, like the statistics, logbook items etc., click on the tabs underneath the name of your drone

Ground Control App

It’s also possible to add drones to your library via the Ground Control App.

Add a new drone to your library

1. When you open the app, you’ll see the option ‘Library’ at the bottom. Click on this.
2. Click on ‘Drones’ at the top.
3. An overview with all your drones will open, if you haven’t added any drones yet this overview will be empty. Click on the ‘+’ icon in the upper right corner.
4. A new window will open requesting you to fill in the nessary information:
   • Name
   • Manufacturer
   • Model – Registration number
   • Serial number
   • Weight (kg)
   • Firmware version
5. Always make sure to click on save

Edit or delete a drone

1. Go to the drone you’d like to edit or delete
2. To edit or delete the drone, click on drone
3. To delete the drone, click on the bin in the upper right corner
4. To edit the drone, click on the pencil in the upper right corner and edit the information.
5. Make sure to click on save.
