AirHub’s help on the implementation of drones within Croonwolter&dros’ workflow has given the company opportunities to visualize hard-to-reach areas. The deployment of drones can be used to display the total scope and areas of service of
a project. This not only speeds up the process of extracting data, but also saves valuable FTEs.
The challenge
Croonwolter&dros is actively looking for ways for the company to innovate with current existing technology. They wondered if the use of drones will increase efficiency in their business, but could also map unreachable areas for inspections.
“What we do, we do excellently and we continuously improve” is one of our principles! During the innovation process ‘inspecting with drones’ Croonwolter&dros Survey and Inspection is continuous looking for valuable partners to make our ambitions a reality in a qualitative way. Airhub has proven to be valuable and we are very positive about the collaboration and the result.

Solution
During the period, AirHub worked with Croonwolter&dros to brainstorm, elaborate and create capabilities for drone operations. Based on this output, documentation and procedures were developed, resulting in ample opportunities for drone operations. Together with the software package, the Croonwolter&dros team was prepared to perform safe drone operations during the workshop held by our consultants.
